Finding Us On Google Map

When coming to visit us, the first thing you musn't try to do is to imagine a church with a steeple or any of such contemporaneous assumptions.

We mentioned in our Warm Welcome note that we're a small church. The emphasis is on the word 'small.' If you have your own transport, it makes things easy. If you have a GoogleMaps-enabled smartphone, you can easily find us because Hosanna EFC is labelled.

For those who use Papago or Garmin GPS navigators, these coordinates - 4.614363, 101.126371 - might come in handy. You simply input these coordinates into your device and your navigator should bring us up on the map and route you to our church effortlessly.

If you can read our blog on your device while travelling but can't access your GPS facility, fear not for we have done some screen captures of Google Maps to give you an idea.

This is a broad overview look at where we are relative to the big main road. From the yellow-coloured main arterial called called Jalan Sultan Azlan Shah, heading north will take you away from Ipoh towards Penang. The key is to locate Kinta City Shopping Centre (Jusco) on your right. At that traffic junction, turn left into a road called Persiaran Medan Ipoh.

Your next traffic stop will be at a T-intersection. Turn right into Jalan Burung Belibis and drive along. You should anticipate going under the PLUS Highway, which runs across.

Once you go past the PLUS Highway running on top, the road you're on changes name to Jalan Perajurit. After the underpass, you will see a row of shoplots on your right. Head to the second turn-off on the right. Take note that the first of the two turn-offs is only for outgoing traffic. The second one will allow you to turn right. Here you can identify the corner coffeeshop called Ipoh Garden East Coffee Shop.

After turning right, drive at a steady pace. Very shortly you will notice a restaurant on a corner called Beacon Point. The road to the right that is immediately before Beacon Point is Lintasan Perajurit 6. That's where you turn right.

The photo above shows the church to the left of the shop called "Bekalan Sri Saga." We don't quite have proper signage for easy identification (working on it actually). Our church front is painted beige in colour and the shutters are brown. There are two potted ferns at the front of it.

From the direction you are coming in, the church should be on your right.
