This article was originally written as a point of discussion concerning online social media for my private English Communication class. Just as it was important for the youth to understand the critical dangers involved, I decided to reproduce it here for my readers. If you're wondering about the slightly different format here, that's because it was meant for students.
In a separate article, which I will publish here within the next two days, I will provide the Discussion Points where I present twelve topical questions. Feel free to use them for your own purposes. When you do use them, I presume you understand about acknowledging the original writer of these articles.

Book Review - The Historical Christ and the Theological Jesus (Allison Jr, Dale C, 2009)

By Khen Lim

For quest to bring a "modern" interpretation of Jesus has been going on for some time now but everytime someone or some media network attempts to give Christ a fresh coat of paint, something horrible happens. Christians feel looted of the Christ they cherish. Historians gloat that they "discover" something new in Jesus that thwarts the way we view and love Him.
Dale C Allison Jr's 2009 book called "The Historical Christ and the Theological Jesus" is one of many books that attempt to tackle the many exploits of reconciling the Christ we know with the Jesus that the modern historian wants us to believe in. Does it work?

The Remaining - Christian Movie/Film Affirm Films - Banner 2

Movie Review – The Remaining

It never came to Malaysia and it probably won’t. It would be surprising if it even make it to the DVD shops. To watch ‘The Remaining,’ you’d have a better chance watching it on the Internet. Still for all the controversy of mixing Hollywood horror genre with Christian faith values, it was worth the trouble.

You can have a part in reaching millions of desperate women with the love of Christ

This gripping new documentary film tells the untold story of millions of women in South Asia who are abused and trampled simply because they are women.

Movie Review - God's Not Dead

By Khen Lim

For Christians, it’s hard not to get excited with such a movie title. For many of us, this movie served up great opportunities to spread the Word to non-believers who are willing to be objective or open-minded but it seems that there have been reviews that slated the movie for various reasons but principally, they levelled on the movie’s weak arguments against atheism. There are too many and too complex issues brought up that I would raise here but suffice to say, all of them deserve some form of response here.
