Lux Mundi Sunday Weekly; October 19 2014

Launching the Lux Mundi Sunday Weekly

"Lux Mundi" isn't just a name given to our blogsite. Hosanna EFC in Malaysia uses the same name for their Sunday weekly bulletin that is available free to all congregants, guests, interstate visitors and speakers.

While we will have a separate article dedicated to the use and adoption of the Latinate "Lux Mundi" for our blogsite and weekly, we have also decided to put our weeklies online as free download resource for everyone who is interested to read.

Lux Mundi as a Sunday weekly first began with the inaugural issue only recently, on August 3 2014. As of yesterday, we have now reached its twelfth edition. Prior to this, our weeklies were essentially just a bulletin with a single article and various announcements that meant very little to anyone other than our own church members.

We decided to "sink our claws" into this project and flesh it out, not just to spruce things up but to perform a service that would bring greater glory to God. We wanted to put God first and by doing so, we chose the name Lux Mundi and put forth an agenda where we would certainly try harder and bring the results to roost.

It's been 'traditional' for our small church to think small and then act small. We believe that this is counter-productive and we've set about using our Lux Mundi Sunday weekly as a testimony that we want to change things from within. Knowing we have a very small congregation and very few "hands on deck" will not deter us this time as we are far more resolution in glorifying Christ Jesus.

So from this week onwards, expect the Sunday weekly downloadable to be made available beginning today. Please find the link to the October 19 2014 edition of Lux Mundi below:
